The Urban Ninja Blog Experience

Now more than ever during night stealth exercises, you will come across security cameras and other surveillance equipment. Follow these 5 quick tips and learn how to stealth by unseen.

Tip 1- Sneak Pass Security Cameras

Shine a light of 130 or more Lumens into the camera lens which will blind the lens. Sneak by, then remove the light from the lens.

Tip 2 – Sneak Pass Security Cameras Part 2

Cover the lens with spray paint or shoot at the lens with a paintball gun.

Tip 3 – Motion Sensor

Every wonder how to get pass a motion sensor light? Use patience. You must move very slowly through the area covered. When we say very slowly, we mean slowly. No sudden movements. It will take you nearly 10 minutes to pass through 10 meters of area covered by motion sensor lights.

Tip 4 – Barbed Wire Fence

Put thick material over the part of the fence you will climb over. A car mat, piece of cardboard, or a thick jacket will do. Click here to read more…

When being pursued by another vehicle, unless you are prepared, you have very few options. When you are in a car chase there are only two outcomes that will occur:

1- Your car will be disabled and you will be caught

OR

2- You will escape

Without proper preparation, your chances of escaping will be minimal. Maybe pursuers will get in an accident disabling their vehicle, or maybe your superior driving will loose them.

However if two or more cars are chasing you, superior driving will be a lot less effective.

To increase your chances of success in a car chase, you must first prepare yourself and your vehicle. Then you must take the right action during the chase:

Preparing Yourself and Your Car

How to Protect Your Car

1- Get Run Flat Tires on Your Car
This will protect your car from being disabled. Even if you run over a spike strip, your car will still be able to drive at speeds of 55 mph or more.

2- Better Shocks
If you need to go off road, higher quality shocks will make the difference of getting through it or not

3- Upgrade your Bumper
Replace your cars current bumpers with dual ram bumpers.

4- Heavy Duty Radiator
Replace your current radiator with a new heavy duty radiator which can keep up with the chase.

5- Bullet Proof Windows and Body
If you really want to protect yourself, replace the windows with bullet proof glass. Add Kevlar and steel plates to the cars interior. If you do not have Kevlar on hand, use old phone books and pack them inside the doors. Most bullets will not penetrate a phone book. Click here to read more…

“I would hate to have to chase this guy”.  La Parkour in action…do we need to say more…

In martial arts, the ability to do the splits is held in high regard. Flexibility is a talent, but can be trained as well. To do the splits you will need patience and determination, as well as a plan.

Write down a timeline and an action plan. Writing down your goal of being able to do the splits will turn it into a focused goal. Goals are more likely to be accomplished when you have written them down.

Give yourself a realistic time frame for completion. For example, two to four weeks will be realistic if you follow certain steps. After you write down your goal to do the splits within a certain time frame, you need an action plan. One action plan requires stretching twice a day minimum.

Before beginning any stretching routine, warm up. A light jog, jumping rope or even some pushups and jumping jacks will elevate your heart rate. This raises your body temperature and warms the muscles, making them more pliable and less prone to injury.

Start each session with dynamic stretching. Dynamic stretching is an active stretch.   Click here to read more…

If you’ve ever walked into a club or bar, you know what happens before walking through the door.

A quick pat down looking for weapons like guns or knives.

Most security officers are trained to look for weapons in a few areas:

  • The Jacket (looking for weapons in one of the many pockets)
  • Ribs and Hips (they will pat down your ribs and hips looking for a gun holster)
  • Uppers Legs (looking for more hidden weapons)
  • Boots (looking for boot knives or a small gun)

These 4 areas are where 99% of all security officers look during their initial pat down!

3 Reasons Why You May Want to Enter Armed

1- Some of the bars and clubs around the world are not the safest places to go.

2- Many security guards allow the regulars or more shady characters to enter without being checked for weapons.

3- Security guards will not give a solid check to friends and acquaintances.

90% of weapons that enter a club or bar fall under the last two categories. This is what puts your safety and the safety of others at risk!

How Do You Get a Weapon Pass Security Without Much Effort?

1- Well, you could go gangster and hide a razor blade in your mouth. We do not recommend this due to the risk of cutting yourself, and do you really want to put a sharp object in your mouth? Besides, many security officers are on to this old trick.

2- You could cut a slit inside your boot sole and hide a blade there.

3- You could even hide a weapon in your ass.

4- Have a small gun down the front of your pants that emulates an erect penis. (As seen in the 1990’s movie which name is eluding me)

All these four methods may work, but if shi*hits the fan, you need quick access to your weapons.

So what’s the solution?

The below strategy has allowed me and many others to enter clubs and bars around the world without any trouble. In fact, no security guard from L.A. to Asia has ever found this weapon on me.   Click here to read more…

Recently, Timothy Ferris, the author of 4 Hour Work Weeks attended a David Blaine seminar teaching people how to hold their breath for minutes at a time.

Below you’ll find the steps for holding your breath for over 3 minutes.

By following the 10 easy steps below, these are my personal results:

Before: 1 minute and 12 seconds

After: 3 minutes and 44 seconds. (No B.S)

(As a guide, Harry Houdini’s personal record is 3 minutes and 30 seconds)

10 Easy Steps for Holding Your Breathe for Over 3 Minutes

1- Start with 90 seconds of “deep breathing”. (Deep Breathing: Involves taking a deep breath through your mouth, holding for 1 second, then breathing out for 10 seconds with your mouth almost closed)

2- Hold your breath for 90 seconds. (No more than that)

3- Follow with 3 “semi purging breathes”. (Semi Purging: Basically a very strong inhale and exhale)

4- 90 seconds of “deep breathing”

5- 90 seconds of “purging” (Purging: Strongest exhale possible followed by an even stronger inhale)

6- Hold your breath for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. (No more than that)   Click here to read more…

Ever wondered how magicians or the Jason Bourne types can escape from handcuffs at will?

As you will soon find out, escaping from handcuffs is a lot easier than you think. All it takes is 20 minutes to learn the specific technique and a little practice. Read the article and follow the directions in the video below.

Note: We are not going to cop out by telling you to hide a key in your pants or behind your ear. The chances are that when you actually need this technique to escape from handcuffs, you won’t have a key anywhere near.

What you will need:

  • 1 set of police grade handcuffs
  • Package of bobby pins
  • This article

7 Steps to Pick a Handcuff Lock:

1- Get a regular bobby pin. On one end you’ll notice there is a plastic tip. Pull away the plastic, this is the end you will be using. (If you are unable to pull away the plastic covering, simply bite it off)

2- Put the tip in the bottom part of the lock and bend it down. This will create an “L” shape on the end of the pin.

3- Take it out the bobby pin, turn it around, and bend it the other way. The pin will resemble a “Z” (This will create the leverage for prying open the jaw)

4- Place the bobby pin in the keyhole. You want the tip to be turned towards the main part of the lock pointing at the direction of 10 o’clock.

5- Take the bobby pin and bend it down. This will release the latch that will open the jaw of the handcuff.   Click here to read more…

Escapology is the practice of escaping from restraints or other traps. Escapologists (also called escape artists) escape from handcuffs, straitjackets, cages, coffins, steel boxes, barrels, bags, burning buildings, fish-tanks and other perils, often in combination.

Although the art of escapology is typically associated with magicians and escape artists, this is a vital art for all Urban Ninjas.

Ever wanted to learn how to escape from handcuffs, ropes, or even pick a lock? Then this is the art for you and all Urban Ninjas.   Click here to read more…

Whenever people think of Ninja’s primary weapon, they usually picture throwing stars, the straight sword, or many other Ninja weapons made popular by movies. However, the most powerful weapon of the Ninja is their ability stealth. This single weapon creates the fear of the “unexpected” which is far more powerful than any one sword or star could ever be.

The success of the ninja is their ability to stealth and blend in with their environments. The fear of their opponents is due to the fact that they could never know when or where the Ninja would appear from. This gives the Ninja a distinct advantage over their opponents.

If you want to learn how to move and stealth walk like a ninja, you will first have to practice self control and patience. The true path of the ninja is discipline. Here are some tips to help with your stealth walk:

- Pay special attention to your breathing patterns. Your breath should be steady and shouldn’t produce anymore sound than is necessary.

- Practice, practice, and practice some more. The way is in your training. Make sure every step is taken in a controlled manner where you gently lower your foot to the ground. With the correct movement and patience, you can step and break a stick with noticeable noise.   Click here to read more…
